Born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Kia has strong ties to the Gulf Coast.

She graduated magna cum laude from the University of West Florida with a B.A. in legal studies before earning her J.D. from the University of Florida. Kia returned home to the panhandle to become a litigator serving the needs of the firm’s clients.

In addition to earning academic honors in law school, Kia was a Certified Legal Intern and provided legal services to families in need throughout Alachua County. Prior to joining Keefe, Anchors & Gordon, Kia served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ross M. Goodman, Circuit Judge in the First Judicial Circuit in Milton, Florida. She also worked as a summer associate at a prominent commercial litigation firm in Pensacola, Florida.

In her spare time, Kia enjoys watching the U.S. Navy Blue Angels perform. “My fascination with jets played a large part in my decision to make Fort Walton Beach my new home,” she says. She also enjoys traveling, watching movies, and attending UF football games.
